Artistic expression is a lifelong journey for Kim. Thanks to the influence of her highly talented grandfather, she inherited a love of creative exploration – in the visual arts, music, writing and the garden. Having received a BA in Fine Arts from Binghamton University, it was after a trip to Israel in 2001 that she discovered the art of jewelry making. Forging a partnership with a family from Jerusalem, she began importing and selling their finely fashioned jewelry. It was this relationship that impassioned Kim to design her first collection. Her work is now exhibited and sold at select art galleries, boutiques and special events.

Each piece of jewelry is an inspired design, and has been handcrafted with meticulous attention to details, from the selection of carefully chosen beads to the clasps that compliment and enhance the design. Kim works primarily with gemstones, glass, vintage and natural beads, such as bone and shell, in combination with .999 and sterling silver, 14k and 18k gold-fill and gold-plate.

Her jewelry is fluid and inspired by the shape, size, color and texture of the materials. Designs can be bold, elegant, natural, eclectic, whimsical, colorful or subdued, but no two pieces are exactly alike and one-of-a-kind. A finished necklace or bracelet is named and signed by the artist.
